 Description:Diamond Detective Agency, Inc. is a national physical security company based out of Chicago Heights, IL, that has provided uniformed guards and related security services to public and private sector organizations for almost 40 years. Our Nashville, TN operations has an immediate opening for a Safety & Security Technician Officer that will be responsible to provide an appropriate level of protection for our client’s employees, patrons, visitors and property at their facility.  Security measures also require attention from this position to support efforts of the Safety and Security camera program.  An important aspect of the position is to ensure patrons have a high level of security protection through the performance of the camera system.Essential Functions:o         Assists in enforcing our client’s rules to protect the following:Theft, sabotage, and preventing unauthorized persons from entering client’s propertyWatch for and report fire and fire hazardsThe safety of persons on MTA’s propertyo         Assists in client’s internal investigations and maintains strict confidentialityo         Assists in developing procedures that effectively control keeping systems in a high state of repair and 100% control of inventoryo         Assists in drafting and updating procedures, manuals, and bulletins for the Safety and Security Programo         Inspects client’s safety and security cameras for continued good repair and repair if necessaryo         Makes recommendations for the purchase and use of camera equipmento         Assists with other safety and security programs as necessaryo         Maintains a current inventory of all aspects of the CCTV cameras to include hard driveso         Makes DVD and CD recordings from bus camera and other hard drives as necessary or directedo         Distributes copes of DVD and CD recordings to authorized members of management and insurance companies of MTA as necessary or directed.o         Monitors facility cameraso         Works collaboratively with outside contractors to keep the facility camera systems operatingo         Keeps client and company management informed of problems or issues as they arise and makes recommendations to resolve these matterso         Performs any other tasks as directed by the Area Manager, his designee or upper managementOther Functions/Requirements:o         Report to work on assigned scheduleo         Work with little supervisiono         Maintain effective working relationship with all levels of employeeso         Understand and carry out detailed written and verbal instructionso         Problem solving skillso         Ability to make oral presentationso         Ability to compose written documentso         Maintain confidentialityo         Respond to emergency situations (reporting to work early/staying late as necessary)o         Meet required deadlineso         Work under stressful situationso         Perform mathematical calculationso         Wear approved security attireo         Must have knowledge/experience with security cameras and repairo         Must be able to utilize own toolso         Tennessee Guard License preferred or must be able to be obtained Diamond Detective Agency, Inc. is a national physical security company based out of Chicago Heights, IL, that has provided uniformed guards and related security services to public and private sector organizations for almost 40 years.
